LANDFORMS

A small experimental series of work using plaster as the substrate on board. The medium is highly absorbent and the brush marks arrive and rest beautifully on the medium. It is however, fragile and needs sealing with a wax or varnish. The subject matter is one often visisted as I attempt to complete walking the South West Coast Path. I am drawn to where the land meets the sea, where many rock types along the Coast Path (sedimentary, shale etc) meet the movement of continuous tides.
